Louis M. “Skip” Perez, the Ledger’s executive editor, will retire from the newspaper next month.
Perez, 64, joined The Ledger in 1976 and became executive editor five years later. Under his leadership, the paper won 91 New York Times Co. citations for journalistic excellence and numerous national industry honors.
