The Florida Society of News Editors and Florida Press Association would like to memorialize Florida journalists, active or retired, who died since the last convention, roughly June 2010 to date. (The convention is June 30 to July 1 in St. Petersburg.)

2011 Paul Hansell Award for Distinguished Achievement in Florida Journalism

The Paul Hansell Award for Distinguished Achievement in Florida Journalism will be presented at the Florida Society of News Editors annual convention on June 30-July 1 in St. Petersburg. The contest is open to all individuals who write for a Florida newspaper. The winner receives $1,000.
