Tallahassee Democrat: Governor needs to defend open government

We’ve said it here countless times — the openness of government in Florida is a model for the nation, and something to be treasured and preserved by its citizens.
The First Amendment Foundation, a private, nonpartisan guardian of Florida’s Sunshine and public records laws, keeps a careful watch on attempts to erode open government, and it has marked several bills of concern this year. All deserve a veto by Gov. Rick Scott.
